Our Saudi-based client is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Accountant/Supervisor to join their dynamic Food & Beverages team in Jeddah, KSA. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial documentation and accounting operations within a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and company policies. With at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the F&B industry, the candidate will oversee a range of fiscal processes, including budgeting, auditing, tax compliance, and financial reporting, applying their industry-specific knowledge for accurate financial analysis and strategic financial planning. The role demands a proactive approach to continuous improvement, risk management, and a thorough understanding of cost control within the F&B sector. The Senior Accountant / Supervisor will play a critical role in aligning financial initiatives with business objectives, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.
Job Requirements
- :University degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field of study
- .Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or similar is preferred
- .Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience specifically within the Food & Beverages industry
- .Demonstrated experience in leading and managing accounting teams
- .Proven track record of financial reporting, budget preparation, and fiscal analysis in the F&B sector
- .Expert knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations
- .Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- .Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management specific to the F&B industry
- .Solid grounding in tax law and compliance with a focus on F&B operations
- .Ability to develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
- .Experience in conducting audits and formulating audit reports
- .Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
