  • Establish and manage monitoring processes proportional to the scale, nature, and complexity of the firms operations.
  • Draft and maintain internal procedures aligned with relevant legislation and industry guidelines.
  • Document and oversee the firms risk-based strategies, risk assessments, and monitoring processes.

  • Monitor compliance with AML/CTF policies, ensuring ongoing development and effectiveness of these policies.
  • Train staff in AML/CTF prevention, ensuring training standards are appropriate and training records are maintained.
  • Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of money laundering compliance policies to counter terrorism financing.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports (quarterly or as required) to the Board and senior management on compliance with AML/CTF obligations.
  • Recommend corrective actions for any deficiencies in policies, procedures, systems, or controls, and follow through on implementation.
  • Serve as the key representative to external regulators, law enforcement agencies, and third parties on AML/CTF matters.
  • Stay informed about sanctions, prohibitions, and advisory notices, advising management and relevant staff of any changes or individuals on the sanctions list.
  • Respond promptly to regulatory or law enforcement requests for information.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience: Prior experience in e-money services and financial compliance, specifically within fintech or payments industries, is strongly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.

  • Excellent problem-solving and investigative abilities.
