JOB PURPOSE :
Support in conducting user research to inform the design process.
Work closely with the digital and product teams to understand the needs of the users.
Develop solutions that meet the user's needs.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct user research using a variety of qualitative methods, such as interviews, focus groups, and usability testing
- Analyze user research data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop and present research findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Design and facilitate design-thinking workshops with stakeholders, and the digital and product teams
- Collaborate with the digital and product teams to incorporate research findings into the design process
- Stay up to date on the latest user research methods and best practices
RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- Min of 6+ years of experience in design research
FIELD OF EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in design research and UX design, with Solid knowledge of quantitative research methods
TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
- Strong design skills, with a focus on UX design
- Extensive experience with qualitative research methods
- Proficient with design thinking methodologies and approaches
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with user research tools and technologies, such as Qualtrics, Dovetail and User Testing
- Experience with accessibility design principles and best practices
- Experience with working in agile teams
QUALIFICATION:
- BSc or equivalent in any area including but not limited to Web Development, Computer Science, Psychology, and Information technology
