The Senior Associate Investments is responsible for supporting the execution of investment strategies, conducting thorough market research, and contributing to the overall success of the company.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments.
- Assist in the evaluation, assessment and recommendation of potential investment opportunities and risks, including but not limited to real assets, private equity, venture capital, direct investments, fund investments.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to support investment decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior team members in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of investment transactions.
- Assist in due diligence processes and ensure all relevant documentation is in order.
- Coordinate with internal teams and functions to facilitate the successful execution of investment deals.
- Support the monitoring and management of investment portfolios.
- Assist in the implementation of risk management strategies to optimise portfolio performance.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of client relationships.
- Build and maintain financial models and simulations to analyse investment opportunities and project financial performance.
- Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario planning to assess potential outcomes.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial models, analysis and reports for decision-making purposes.
- Interface with clients to gather detailed information, address inquiries, and provide updates on portfolio performance.
- Assist in preparing department as well as clients presentations and reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, financial institutions, lawyers, advisors, also department and company various functions ensuring satisfaction with our services. Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.
- Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
WORK EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in related field with focus on direct investments, private equity and venture capital (including Web3 and digital assets)
- Proven experience in investment analysis, financial modelling, or related roles.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
