Evolution is seeking talented Senior Audio Engineers and Technicians to join our Technical Department in Dubai, UAE. This position will be based at our office in Jebel Ali, Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for technical concepts, seasoned experience in an Audio role, experience with Audio systems, networks and consoles, exceptional problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities. As a Senior Audio Engineer / Technician in the team, you will play a crucial role in managing Audio systems and ensuring flawless audio experiences for clients and guests at events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specify and manage audio components for upcoming events,
- Assist the department with pitches and quotations, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
- Control and maintain Evolution's audio assets, ensuring their proper function and maintenance.
- Rig and de-rig equipment, ensuring systems are correctly set up for use.
- Program and operate audio systems, creating the optimum audio coverage and experience for events.
- Collaborate and liaise with third parties and/or other departments involved in event production.
Requirements:
- Must have a positive can-do attitude. Were looking for someone who is used to, and thrives, in a busy environment where project goals can shift and evolve.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Audio role, preferably working on mid to large-scale events.
- Experience in the UAE is a bonus but not essential.
- Experience with at least 1x brand of Audio console or system (ie: Yamaha / Digico / Midas / LAcoustics / D&B)
- Proficiency in Sketchup, Autocad, and Vectorworks is desired, although training can be provided.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Able to drive in the UAE and have a car.
