Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Auditor at VTS in Dumyat, Egypt. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for performing audits, analyzing financial data, identifying risks, and providing recommendations to improve financial processes. Additionally, the Senior Auditor will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in audit planning, including risk assessments and client interviews to gather pertinent data.
- Collaborate with client management to discuss audit findings and respond to inquiries.
- Test accounting and financial systems for efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Remain up-to-date with industry regulations, auditing standards, and best practices.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify potential risks and compliance issues.
- Conduct comprehensive audits of client financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to relevant accounting standards.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and management responses. Present audit findings to senior leadership and ensure follow-up on agreed actions.
Qualifications
- Audit, Financial Analysis, and Risk Assessment skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in external audit.
- Familiarity with logistics companies is a plus.
