The ideal candidate will be responsible for Designs an AV system solution that fulfills the use requirements for our customers. The solution will specify system capabilities as well as limitations. The AV Design Engineer supports the Sales team throughout the quoting process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field
- At least 4-6 years of design experience in the commercial audio/visual industry, with a focus on mega projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of audio, video, and control systems as well as architectural and cabling requirements.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), designs, detailed quotations and Conduct tender and bid estimations.
- Proficiency in system design, engineering, programming support, and audiovisual installations.
- Offer technical expertise to support sales opportunities, including conducting site surveys when necessary.
- Develop and deliver detailed design drawings and proposals for audio-visual systems.
- Ensure compliance with architectural and cabling standards for audio, video, and control systems.
- Focus primarily on design and pre-sales activities, with occasional assistance in installations as needed.
- Preferred Certification: CTS certification or equal.
- Expertise in system design, engineering, programming, and audiovisual installations.
