Multibank Group is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our fast-paced team in the fintech and forex trading sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that support our innovative trading platforms.
Responsibilities
- Write secure, clean code for web applications.
- Design client-side and server-side architecture.
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
- Write effective, secure and industry accepted APIs.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
- Supports and troubleshoots existing applications.
- Evaluates and analyzes business requirements for new systems and system changes.
- Maintenance and enhancement of existing applications.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with full lifecycle of project development, preferably in fintech or financial services.
- Strong skills in PHP (symfony/laravel).
- Extensive experience in software design, architecture, development integration.
- Solid knowledge of event processing models, multi-threading, enterprise integration pattern, Web Service and REST.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle and Postgre.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs design.
- Understanding of MVC design patterns.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc.
- Autonomous, critical-thinker & problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset.
- Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on AWS lambda and messaging queue preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Linux knowledge.
- Distributed/remote/global team working experience.
- Your active GitHub/NPM portfolio.
- Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and server-side techniques.
- Familiar with Server-Side Rendering.
- Familiar with the source code of one or two famous front-end libraries.
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
