Job Description

Senior Brand Analyst's role is to provide accurate quantitative information and qualitative feedback for the brand management team to optimize Buying as well as proposing replenishment, transfers and liquidation in country. Key responsibilities of the Senior Brand Analyst include trend analysis, inventory allocation, planning and providing guidance with regards to best sellers, slow movers and sale optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide qualitative insights and quantitative data to prepare best classification of store in terms of assortment and most appropriate assortment depth for each store.
  • Ensure alignment of stock with brand guidelines at all time and execution of instructions from brand management.
  • Support the creation and execution of plans that drive sales and optimize inventory management.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to evaluate sales performance and increase sales productivity.
  • Track and report on the achievement of periodic sales targets, margins, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in creating strategies for managing non-moving stock, ensuring effective control of stock levels and reducing excess inventory.
  • Oversee the open-to-buy (OTB) process, ensuring accurate budget allocation at the brand, store, supply chain, and country levels.
  • Support the creation and management of pre-buying reports and provide recommendations for stock purchases.
  • Assist in managing consignment stock and ensuring timely inventory replenishment.
  • Reporting and performance tracking. Submit periodic reports, including but not limited to; sales and retail KPIs, sell-through rates, stock analysis, budget comparisons, ad-hoc performance metrics and analysis.
  • Support pricing strategies and markdown planning to ensure optimal inventory turnover.
  • Assist in planning promotional activities, liquidation strategies, and clearance sales to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual and interim financial budgets, including sales forecasts, discount strategies, and seasonal margin targets.
  • Ensure alignment of purchasing and inventory strategies with financial objectives.
  • Assist in the establishment and feasibility study of new projects related to merchandise planning, analyzing potential impact on sales and inventory.
  • Support pricing, promotional strategies, and product management for online sales channels.

Your Profile:

  • Over 5 years of proven experience in retail analysis, planning, merchandising, and inventory management in luxury retail.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficient in Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and agile.
