Role Purpose:
The Senior Brand Manager will work on several workstreams to drive the brands towards long-term sustainable and profitable growth across KSA, Gulf & Levant by:
- Leading the development of the Brand Marketing Plans.
- Leading a multifunctional team to deploy plans in the market and monitor the performance of the support plans.
Key Accountabilities:
Brand Management
- Lead integrated Brand Marketing Plan development and deployment.
- Supervise consumer research to inform better decision-making through better consumer understanding leading to better strategy formulation and more effective marketing and innovation plans.
- Define brands strategies for existing and new brands & categories.
- Translate Marketing Strategy into activity calendars and Innovations.
- Analyze the consumer & Sales data and generate insights to build stronger consumer marketing plans.
- Monitor the sales performance and market share of competitors & design relevant activities to address challenges/ opportunities.
- Track & monitor brands performances in the market against market changes (competition, consumer trends, market trends, etc.) and develop adequate plans to strengthen the brand position in the market, overcome challenges, and/or capitalize on opportunities.
Brand Development
- Participate in the development and marketing of ideas related to the brand.
- Develop pricing actions that include strategic pricing and promotional strategies.
- Develop brand strategies that fit with the market & consumer needs and ensure coherence & alignment of global brand strategies.
Operation Managment
- Manage the daily operations of Marketing Innovations to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed.
- Lead brand promotional activities.
- Manage brand operational activities: sampling, events, etc.
- Manage the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and division requirements, policies, and standards.
Marketing Innovation Management
- Define the marketing innovation strategy, leveraging brand/ consumer/ competitor insights.
- Follow up on the latest technologies for the brand products, and be a force of proposition driving the innovation pipeline.
- Responsible for launch management; building launch plans and channel strategies (promotions, media, and POS).
- Lead selected Marketing Innovation projects with brand team support regarding new brands, new categories, and high investment/high potential.
Budgeting
- Develop brand plans and work with finance, commercial, R&D, and sales to ensure successful implementation.
- Develop a plan and budget for the respective brand by conducting analysis and preparing data related to specific elements.
- Monitor the financial performance of the deployed Marketing activities to maximize ROI and build corrective measures when required.
Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Recommend improvements to company/division policies.
- Direct the implementation of processes and controls covering all areas of innovation activity so that all relevant regulatory/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost-effective plans.
Job Requirement
- MBA in Marketing or equivalent qualification from an internationally recognized school.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
- Experience in the KSA market required.
