Roles and responsibilities :
As a chatbot experience developer, you are responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of Java backends. You're well-versed in either Java and can write code and algorithms with it and understand the different ways it works and how to use different language features. You're familiar and comfortable with backend concepts, such as Databases, Caching, Reverse Proxy, Concurrency, REST APIs, and so on. You are also familiar with supporting libraries used in the backend, such as Spring Framework, ... etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing new chatbot features on the backend in Java.
- Refactoring legacy code and identifying shared logic and abstractions.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to align on requirements and priorities.
- Maintenance and upgrade of Java projects to ensure smooth operation.
- Writing self-descriptive code and documentation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipeline for automated code integration.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years of experience in Java specifically.
- Basic understanding of frontend development and webapps.
- Deep understanding of Backend development and deployment.
- Deep understanding of relational databases.
- Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms used in chatbots.
- Ability to communicate effectively and align the team on the progress.
- Ability to make critical decisions with clear and logical backing.
