Senior Civil Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in site supervision within the construction consultancy sector. As a Senior Civil Engineer at WSP, you will play a key role in overseeing the successful execution of complex infrastructure projects, contributing your expertise to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and consultants, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide technical oversight and guidance during construction activities, conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with engineering specifications and standards.
Implement rigorous quality assurance and control measures to uphold the highest standards of construction excellence, identifying and addressing any deviations or discrepancies promptly.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to construction activities, safety hazards, and environmental impacts, implementing proactive measures to minimize potential disruptions and ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability among project stakeholders.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, preferences, and expectations, and proactively addressing any concerns or challenges to enhance client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and technical presentations to clients, demonstrating transparency, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering value-added solutions.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site supervision within the construction sector.
Extensive knowledge and experience in the design, construction, and management of transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, highways, tunnels, uderpasses , railways, metros, and related infrastructure.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, manage project budgets and schedules, and deliver successful outcomes.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, stakeholders, and team members from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, with a focus on quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
Flexibility to work in night shifts
