Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Data Quality Team & Activities: Oversee and manage the Data Quality (DQ) team, ensuring the smooth execution of all DQ activities across the organization.
- Data Quality Assessments & Profiling: Conduct comprehensive data quality assessments and data profiling to identify data gaps and implement corrective measures.
- Implement Data Quality Tools: Research, explore, and implement appropriate data quality tools to enhance data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Training & Awareness: Provide regular training and awareness sessions to teams across the organization on data quality practices, tools, and governance.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with NDMO (National Data Management Office) regulations and maintain proper governance protocols. Document all processes and adhere to compliance standards.
- Develop Data Quality Policies & Standards: Develop and implement data quality policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices.
- Data Quality Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on data quality issues, trends, and resolutions, and communicate these findings to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading a Data Quality team or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of data quality tools and technologies.
- Experience in data governance, compliance, and working with NDMO standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to conduct training and awareness sessions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.
