WSP is seeking an experienced
Senior Design Engineer - Wet Utilities to join the team to work with
Abu Dhabi Port Project.
Your new role, what's involved
- Lead the design and coordination of wet utility systems, including potable water, stormwater, sewerage, irrigation, and firefighting systems.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical specifications, and design drawings.
- Ensure designs meet UAE regulatory standards and international codes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate wet utilities with other project components.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Address client and stakeholder queries related to design and technical issues.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to ensure project implementation aligns with design specifications
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in wet utilities design and implementation.
- At least 5 years of experience in the UAE (GCC experience will also be considered to assess flexibility).
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, SewerGEMS, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with UAE wet utility standards, such as ADM, ADWEA, and EAD regulations.
- Professional certifications in utilities engineering are a plus.
