Our client, a leading real estate development company in Abu Dhabi are seeking to appoint a Design Manager and Senior Design Manager.
The Senior Design Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing design quality, budget alignment, and program adherence.
- Daily management of design consultants to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Coordinating the design and development process with project team.
- Collaborating with procurement on bidder lists, RFPs, and evaluations.
- Ensuring consultant submissions meet contractual deliverables.
- Facilitating timely consultant invoicing and payments.
- Preparing and presenting stage-gate presentations to management.
- Managing material submissions and approvals.
Experience Required:
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Architecture.
- 7-10 years of experience as a Senior Design Manager for a UAE-based developer, or equivalent experience, including at least three years in a managerial role with an international design consultancy in the UAE.
- Proven track record of relevant UAE experience is essential, with preference for experience in Abu Dhabi.
