Job Objective
Your role as Senior DevOps Engineer is to be responsible for tackling MyMonty's technical problems in coordination with the DevOps Team Leader and driving technical excellence at all levels and working with senior management to support execution of the organization's vision.
You will conform to MyMonty's policies in executing the best practices in integrating, deploying, supporting, and testing software systems to refine them to excellence.
Main Tasks
- Work closely with the DevOps Team Leader to identify, plan, develop and deploy infrastructure for a wide variety of uses.
- Design, build, and maintain continuous Improvement/Continuous Development (CI/CD), testing, and operations infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain all aspects of external Infrastructure in a CI/CD process using tools like Jenkins, Git.
- Take requirements from various teams, proposes infrastructure solutions, and implements those solutions.
- Assist in leading the effort to continually improve our infrastructure, making it more robust, cost effective, and secure.
- Maintain monitoring, metrics & reporting systems for fine-grained observability and actionable alerting.
- Participate in continually refining and prioritizing the work necessary to support our DevOps tools and infrastructure.
- Promote the adoption and execution of industry best practices related to continuous integration and delivery, automated deployments, operations, infrastructure, support, and test automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering.
- Previous experience working with relevant operating systems (Linux/Unix, etc)
- Previous experience working with CI/CD processes.
- Professional proficiency in Arabic and English required.
Skills Requirements
- Knowledge in CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jenkins/Kubernetes/Ansible).
- Knowledge in Terraform, Kubernetes/Docker, Elasticsearch, Prometheus.
- Knowledge in Linux commands and OS.
- Experience in Python and shell scripting.
- Networking (DNS, VLANs, LoadBalancers)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
- Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create positive and dynamic work environment.
