Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior DevOps Engineer/Senior SRE at Tafweela. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your day-to-day tasks will include ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the software delivery process and optimize our cloud infrastructure. This role is located in Cairo, Egypt, with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role
• Proficiency in cloud platforms AWS
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
• Strong scripting and automation skills with languages like Python or Bash
• Solid understanding of networking and security principles
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
