Senior Director Investments and Asset Management

Job Purpose:

Direct, in collaboration with the senior management, the formulation of WDCs Investments and Asset Management strategy in alignment with the organizations overall strategy and lead the evaluation of investment opportunities to support WDCs overall business, as well as management of WDC assets portfolio.

Qualification:

Masters/bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance.

Experience:

15+ years of professional experience in Investment Management or Strategy in a fast-paced and dynamic environment (preferably in a development company).

Key Accountabilities:

Investment Management

1. Partake in the planning and execution of the investment activities, including investor targeting, investor management, provision of necessary financial data, and investment propositions assessment and modeling.
2. Identify partnership opportunities and build strong relationships with potential investors / partners to pursue potential business investments and successful strategic partnerships that support WDCs mandate and strategic ambition.

Asset Management

1. Lead the design of an asset management framework to evaluate the performance of WDCs managed assets, including KPIs and targets of individual assets.
2. Review and present periodic reports on WDCs asset portfolio (operational and financial) to senior management and provide mitigation actions or recommendations to potential risks or problems that could affect assets, especially in the long run.

Continuous Improvement

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of investments systems, processes, and practices considering international best practice, improvement of business processes, cost optimization, and efficiency improvement.

Strategy Development, Planning and/or Contribution

Develop and direct the implementation of the department strategy ensuring alignment to divisional strategy, WDCs vision, mission, and corporate objectives.
