Role Description
We are pleased to announce a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer at MAC in Jeddah. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing electrical design, power distribution, and power systems within various projects. This role entails leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced electrical systems and components across a range of initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles, demonstrate exceptional project management skills, and exhibit a strong commitment to driving innovative solutions. In addition, the Senior Electrical Engineer will collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, ensuring that the implementation of electrical systems adheres to the highest international standards.
Role Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Design: Led the design of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
- Project Oversight: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery of electrical engineering projects.
- Testing and Validation: Develop and implement testing plans, analyze results, and drive improvements based on findings to validate electrical designs.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all designs and implementations meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, including design records, test reports, and compliance certifications, to ensure traceability and accountability.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert technical solutions, presenting design concepts and recommendations effectively.
Qualifications
- Electrical Design and Electricity skills
- Experience in Electrical Engineering and Power Distribution
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power distribution and electrical system design.
- Knowledge of Power Systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, standards, and best practices, including proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools).
- Familiarity with local and international electrical codes and regulations, ensuring compliance in all designs and implementations.
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, a Master's degree is preferred
- Relevant certifications in Electrical Engineering
