Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the on-site electrical team, ensuring all electrical installations meet design specifications, project plans, and safety standards..
- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with quality standards, building codes, and project requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues on-site, providing practical solutions to maintain project schedules and minimize delays.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering teams to align electrical work with overall project objectives and timelines.
- Maintain accurate and detailed site documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and daily logs for transparency and project tracking.
- Provides input to the monthly progress report as directed by the Resident Engineer.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Master's / Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 15+ years of experience in architectural design with a focus on high-rise buildings.
- Must have high-rise experience and an Authorities experience.
- Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
