We are now looking for a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our site team for a WWTP project in Qatar
This role will be part of the core project design team, supporting the Project Director.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical from an accredited University with Professional Qualifications from a recognized International Institution
- Extensive post-graduate experience and demonstrable overall experience, also having worked in design management capacity of similar works.
- Must have experiences in design & build Control & Instrumentation system such as field Instruments, PLC and SCADA, supervision, commissioning of control and automation and SCADA in sewerage treatment works, pump station or equivalent projects.
- Must be able to review and supervise a broad range of Control & Instrumentation and software designs and construction activities on a variety of public infrastructure projects including treatment works, pump stations or similar works.
- Proficient in the implementation of various PLC and SCADA systems
- Review, comment I recommend acceptance or otherwise of related contractors submissions.
- Must be able to review, verify, comment, monitor and provide the No Objection recommendations for the Inspections, Pre-commissioning Plan, Commissioning Plan and Commercial Operation Testing Plans submitted by the Project Company.
- Must have extensive experience in reviewing and verifying all reviewable data related to ICA set out in the PPPA to confirm compliance with the technical specifications, Applicable Law, Relevant Performance Standards, Approvals and Good Industry Practice.
- Experience in commissioning and witnessing of acceptance tests by all concerned parties and government departments.
- Develop the plan, scope and lead the execution of shutdown works for instrumentation to ensure completion within the specified window.
- Performance of actual design duties and other related duties when directed.
