we are Looking for Sr.Joinrey Estimator to join us in FAST Manufactures located in Umm a Quwain will be responsible about analysing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs. researching, sourcing, negotiating and obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
The Estimator is responsible for all estimation works in joinery and fit-out works. Applicant must have the foundation knowledge in woods and quantity surveying.
Responsible for estimation process.
Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
Understanding drawings and joinery technical issues.
* Visiting sites to gather information needed.
the Requirements
Minimum of 6 years experience in similar position. ( Joinery Only will be accepted )
Experience in computerized take-off.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high volume environment.
Ability to maintain flexible and positive attitude towards work assignments.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment to maximize productivity.
Computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word are essential.
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a professional demeanor.
Must exhibit exceptional attention to detail and professional commitment to completing all tasks assigned.
