MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges
- Stay informed about industry developments and emerging market demands
Lead Generation
- Identify and generate new booth sales through various channels, including online research, networking events, and industry publications
- Qualify leads to determine their suitability for partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
Proposal Development
- Assist in the development of proposals and presentations for potential booth sales
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to create compelling and customized proposals
Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients
- Communicate effectively to understand their needs and present the value of collaborating with the company
Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and creative teams to align business development strategies with overall event objectives
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements
Event Participation
- Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to network and identify potential business opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally and promote its services to potential clients and partners
Reporting and Analysis
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities and interactions.
- Provide regular reports and analyses to the Sales Director on the status of leads and opportunities
Contract Support
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of contracts and agreements with clients, sponsors, and partners.
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure smooth contract execution
The success of the Partnerships Representative in this role will be measured by their ability to maximize revenue and effectively collaborate with internal departments. The overarching goal is to contribute to the company's success in the event industry by expanding its reach, revenue and industry influence.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Professional Experience
Proven experience in a business development or sales support role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Results-driven with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
Knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry is a plus.
Willingness to travel for events as needed
Languages
Fluency in both written and spoken English is required (Arabic is desirable)
