About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive - IT in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The responsibility of this role will be to support smooth functioning of daily operation of the department. Ensure all systems and applications are running smoothly thus enabling all departments and functions to perform their relevant tasks associated with system with easy, efficiency and accuracy. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Overseeing the smooth functioning of computer networks, including troubleshooting problems when they occur.
• Assist IT Lead in smooth functioning of the department operations.
• Responsible for managing the upkeep of the servers & interfaces. Ensure trouble free and efficient operations of the PMS system and Restaurant POS system.
• Ensures all the Guest support calls in Hotsos care are attended promptly.
• Keep a tab on status, risks and opportunities and communicates them to IT lead.
• Assist IT Lead in maintaining accurate records of all the maintenance contracts of both IT & AV and their timely renewal.
• Responsible for overseeing the IT support calls log in Clic and direct report adherence to SLA thus ensuring all the issues are resolved in compliance to the agreed SLA.
• Responsible for testing and launch of software applications and their upgrades. Overlooking change/upgrade of hardware requests as applicable.
• Assist the IT Lead in achieving the department's goals and objectives by supporting the implementation and execution of projects.
• Generate reports of all the Guest support calls on regular intervals and share it with IT management for further analysis.
• Ensure that standards and best practices are continuously communicated and implemented throughout the department.
• Oversee the inventory of all the assets of IT & AV and ensure that they are properly maintained and updated at regular intervals.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• UAE National as per government requirements
• Bachelor degree holder in IT or equivalent
• 0-2 years experience, preferably in a similar position
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
• Good technical knowledge, with good troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Excellent relationship management and problem solving skills
