Role Purpose:

Design the unit's strategy and roadmap, analyze business performance, identify key trends, prepare reports, and provide insights to support decision-making. Collaborate with various departments to gather data, and present findings to senior management. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, developing complex conceptual and logical data definitions /specifications and ensuring the data-gathering process is optimized.

Key Accountabilities:

1- Healthcare Data Analysis;

  • Design data models that integrate patient data from multiple sources to create complete views of health data.
  • Analyse members health risk segmentation and chronic cases profiling (e.g., chronic disease, cancer, hepatic disease, renal failure).
  • Investigate data to find patterns and trends.

2- Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Pull and integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Analyze data to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management and decision making.
  • Publish monthly reports for mega accounts including different dimensions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily and monthly reports.
  • Communicate analytical insights with management.

3- Data Analytics Centre of Excellence;

  • Develop advanced analytics capabilities, models and algorithms to drive decision making across the Group and support the CoE in defining a data analytics roadmap
  • Identify gaps and spot opportunities to create value propositions.

4- People Management & Transformation initiatives;

  • Conduct special studies such as strategic and operational initiatives, benchmarking, risk management, design and re-design of measurements, processes, workflows, and system-related changes.
  • Provide analytical findings & recommendations relating to performance tracking and measurement.
  • Design, build and govern the data capability (people, process, technology) required to create an insight driven organization.
  • Automate the manual reports through power BI.

Skills

  • Intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interpret both high level and detailed view of the data.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work under minimum supervision with excellent time management skills and delivery of high quality work within set time frames.
  • Proficiency and applied experience in data visualization software such as PowerBI.
  • Goal driven leader with the ability to build high performing teams, motivating, mobilizing and coaching employees to meet high standards.

  • Communicates Effectively Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
