Job Purpose:
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager with robust expertise in business modeling and accounting to join our dynamic finance team.
- This role is instrumental in driving financial strategy, overseeing financial planning, and providing insights that guide business decision-making.
- The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of all finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, compliance, and reporting.
- This is a senior position for an analytical thinker with a keen business acumen, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in managing cross-functional finance activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Business Modeling:
- Develop and refine complex business models to evaluate new opportunities, product lines, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide high-quality financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth and decision-making.
- Lead long-term financial planning, incorporating financial forecasting, scenario analysis, and risk management.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct variance analysis on financial performance against budgets and forecasts, presenting key insights and action points to leadership.
- Prepare reports for executive management, board meetings, and key stakeholders.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and strategic priorities.
- Monitor and manage budget allocations, expenditures, and financial forecasts, ensuring cost control and fiscal responsibility.
Accounting & Compliance:
- Supervise the accounting team, ensuring adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards and timely close processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and tax laws, liaising with external auditors as needed.
- Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to improve financial efficiency and mitigate risk.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a strategic partner to business units by providing financial insights and support for operational and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with departments such as operations, HR, and legal to support organizational goals and drive performance.
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in business modeling and accounting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial management principles, forecasting, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, financial software).
- Broad understanding of all finance functions, including tax, treasury, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, Oracle, or similar.
Skills:
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a multinational or large-scale organization.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
