We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team in the Gulf-Levant region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing sales and expense reconciliations, month-end closings, and financial data management, while also driving the innovation of spend tracking and dashboard management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Expenses Reconciliations:
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of sales and expenses.
- Validate and analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Month-End Closing:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of month-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for closing.
- Accruals:
- Ensure accurate calculation and recording of accruals.
- Monitor and review the actual expenses against accruals.
- Conduct periodic reviews to adjust accrual estimates as needed.
- Data & Dashboard Management:
- Maintain and update financial databases and dashboards.
- Develop and generate regular financial reports and dashboards for management review.
- Utilize data analytics tools to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
- Spend Tracking & Innovation:
- Track and monitor company expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets.
- Identify and drive opportunities for cost-saving initiatives.
- Innovate and implement new processes for efficient and effective spend tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data management tools.
- Experience with financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
