Senior Fishing Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Fishing Engineer with extensive expertise in whipstock operations and Plug and Abandonment (P&A) activities. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of industry experience and a proven track record in fishing, wellbore intervention, and P&A services. The role involves providing technical leadership, designing fishing and P&A programs, and executing operations to ensure the successful retrieval of downhole tools and equipment, as well as the safe and efficient abandonment of wells.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage fishing operations, including whipstock installations and retrievals.
• Design and implement fishing and P&A programs tailored to specific well conditions and challenges.
• Conduct thorough pre-job planning and risk assessments to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Provide on-site technical support and supervision during fishing, whipstock, and P&A operations.
• Collaborate with drilling, completions, production, and P&A teams to optimize wellbore intervention and abandonment strategies.
• Analyze and interpret downhole data to troubleshoot and resolve fishing and P&A challenges.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of fishing and P&A operations and outcomes.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and field personnel in fishing, whipstock, and P&A techniques.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices in fishing, wellbore intervention, and P&A technologies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
