Job Description:
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing the user interfaces of Salesforce applications and guiding junior and mid-level Frontend Developers. You will collaborate closely with our Salesforce administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that maximize user engagement and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces for Salesforce applications using Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into frontend solutions
- Customize and extend Salesforce Lightning components to meet specific business needs, ensuring seamless integration with the Salesforce platform
- Implement Salesforce best practices for frontend development, including data validation, error handling, and security considerations
- Optimize frontend code and user interfaces for performance and scalability within the Salesforce ecosystem as well as develop backend code using apex to serve these functionalities
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of frontend components to ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices
- Stay updated on the latest Salesforce frontend technologies, such as Lightning Design System (SLDS) and Salesforce DX, to suggest improvements and innovative solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Salesforce administrators, developers, and business stakeholders, to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, adhere to Salesforce development best practices, and ensure compliance with company standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members when needed
- Stay informed about Salesforce platform updates and releases, evaluating their impact on frontend development practices and making necessary adjustments
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience as a Frontend Developer
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Frontend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating Frontend development expertise
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) is a plus
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or Angular, and their ideally integration with Salesforce
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and experience with Java
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX for source control and deployment is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, are a plus
