Responsibilities
Curriculum Leadership:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive geography/ humanities lessons tailored for IGCSE students.
- Mentor and support other teachers in the department.
- Utilize innovative and engaging approaches to foster an interest in the subject matter.
- Adapt teaching methodologies and materials to accommodate the diverse learning needs of our clients students.
- Foster a culture of intellectual curiosity and critical thinking among students through engaging classroom interactions.
Assessment And Progress Monitoring
- Formulate and implement assessment strategies, including examinations and assignments, to assess student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance, facilitating student improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance with attention to detail.
Communication And Collaboration
- Foster transparent and effective communication channels with students, parents, and colleagues to maintain a supportive learning community.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support a cohesive and enriching educational experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Humanities, or a related field; preference given to candidates holding a master's degree in education or a related discipline.
- Teaching experience within the IGCSE curriculum framework.
