The project:
A major urban development project comprising of new homes, commercial properties, public spaces and smart urban mobility. Mace have the opportunity to develop and lead and implement the PMO structure to deliver this city development.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the administration of standards and procedures for GIS in adherence to ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
Designing GIS, database, and analytical processes including system development (hardware, software, and data configurations) to meet project needs.
Overseeing the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of GIS applications, ensuring seamless functionality.
Managing and reviewing GIS submissions from design consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to align with program requirements, authority specifications, and contract deliverables.
Enforcing high-quality standards for GIS data submissions, carefully adhering to deadlines to meet project objectives.
Playing a pivotal role in facilitating and supporting the integration of building information modelling (BIM) and GIS applications for enhanced project efficiency.
Serving as the primary interface between authorities and stakeholders, facilitating GIS information exchange processes, and ensuring seamless communication.
Consolidating program-wide GIS data into a unified, reliable source of truth to enhance data integrity and accessibility.
Advising and developing innovative methods to leverage GIS data for new applications, fostering continuous improvement.
Providing technical guidance and assistance related to GIS to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of GIS applications when needed.
Actively interfacing with different functions and departments to identify GIS requirements and opportunities, fostering a collaborative approach to GIS integration across the organisation.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You'll need to have:
Relevant degree qualification.
Proven experience working on city development, programme, projects.
Knowledge transfer and mentoring experience.
You'll also have:
Professional membership or working towards demonstrable professional or personal development.
Experience in the successful delivery phase of relevant projects and programmes.
Programme management expertise.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
