About The Role
We are seeking an experienced GL & Reporting Senior Specialist to join our finance team. The GL & Reporting Senior Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing various key financial functions, including Fixed Assets Management, Cash and Bank Management, and General Ledger Accounting & Reporting.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Fixed Assets Management
Maintain and manage the fixed assets register, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and impairment. Ensure accurate recording of asset acquisitions, transfers, and retirements in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Cash and Bank Management
Manage daily cash operations, including monitoring cash flow and performing bank reconciliations to ensure sufficient liquidity for company operations. Accurately record all bank transactions in SAP and regularly reconcile bank accounts.
General Ledger Accounting & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records, ensuring all financial transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards. Prepare monthly end closing, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with local and international financial reporting standards. Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Provide financial analysis and reports to management as required. Collaborate with the finance team to support budget preparation and forecasting processes.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting in the FMCG industry.
- AP experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
