Job Description

Senior HR Manager

Position Summary:

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Manager to join a global business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in global, multinational environments within the FMCG, retail, or manufacturing sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker who is also hands-on, capable of driving HR operations, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Strategy & Leadership
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and department heads on HR-related matters.
  • Drive organisational change and culture initiatives to support company goals.
  1. Operational HR Management
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and global corporate policies.
  • Lead the implementation and management of HRIS and other digital tools to streamline processes.
  1. Talent Management & Development
  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.
  • Lead the design and implementation of learning and development programs to foster employee growth.
  • Manage succession planning and career development initiatives.
  1. Compensation & Benefits
  • Design and implement competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.
  • Regularly review market trends to ensure the organisation remains an employer of choice.
  1. Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Create an inclusive and engaging work environment.
  • Develop and lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback sessions, and team-building activities.
  1. Global Collaboration
  • Work closely with regional and global HR teams to ensure consistency in policies and practices.
  • Lead cross-border HR projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the global HR strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior roles within FMCG, retail, or manufacturing industries.
  • Proven track record in a multinational, matrixed environment.
  • Strong operational HR expertise with hands-on experience in managing HR functions.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to organisational goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
