Senior HR Manager
Position Summary:
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Manager to join a global business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in global, multinational environments within the FMCG, retail, or manufacturing sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker who is also hands-on, capable of driving HR operations, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Leadership
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and department heads on HR-related matters.
- Drive organisational change and culture initiatives to support company goals.
- Operational HR Management
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and global corporate policies.
- Lead the implementation and management of HRIS and other digital tools to streamline processes.
- Talent Management & Development
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.
- Lead the design and implementation of learning and development programs to foster employee growth.
- Manage succession planning and career development initiatives.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Design and implement competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.
- Regularly review market trends to ensure the organisation remains an employer of choice.
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Create an inclusive and engaging work environment.
- Develop and lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback sessions, and team-building activities.
- Global Collaboration
- Work closely with regional and global HR teams to ensure consistency in policies and practices.
- Lead cross-border HR projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the global HR strategy.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior roles within FMCG, retail, or manufacturing industries.
- Proven track record in a multinational, matrixed environment.
- Strong operational HR expertise with hands-on experience in managing HR functions.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to organisational goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
