Senior Interior Designer
Location: Riyadh, KSA
Currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Interior Designer to work for an International Engineering Consultancy in Saudi Arabia to handle projects from Pre-design, Concept Design, Design Development, Tender Documentation to Post Design Stage.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Senior Interior Designer to spearhead interior design projects in KSA. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and delivering exceptional interior design solutions for diverse projects including large scale commercial spaces. As the Senior Interior Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the aesthetic and functional aspects of our projects while leading a talented team of designers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the space planning and conceptualization process for interior design projects across various sectors.
- Select appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) based on project requirements, budget, and design aesthetic.
- Produce high-quality CADD drawings and documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
- Supervise and mentor interior designers and CAD technicians, providing guidance and support throughout the design process.
- Manage projects from pre-design stages through to post-design stages, including concept design, design development, tender documentation, and construction administration.
- Act as the project leader on assigned projects, overseeing all aspects of project design and client communication.
- Prepare proposals for new projects, including scope of work, budget estimates, and project timelines.
- Participate in client interviews and presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and project objectives.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of BIM/REVIT delivery processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Stay Current with Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, new materials, and innovative design techniques to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience post graduate experience within interior design
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in the use of Revit and other 3D BIM computer design programmes on Interior Projects.
- Understanding ID deliverables and typical drawings/documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in KSA is a plus.
