Senior Interior Designer (Residential)
Salary up to 25,000 AED depending on experience
Must be located in Dubai but willing and able to travel to and from the UK for ongoing projects
A dynamic and innovative design firm specializing in creating cutting-edge interior spaces is looking for a Senior Level Interior Designer with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join their global company. Residential design experience is a must.
Responsibilities:
Concept - Completion:
- Lead and manage interior design projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and clients, to bring design visions to life.
Design Development:
- Develop innovative and functional design concepts for hospitality projects.
- Create detailed design presentations, mood boards, and material boards to effectively communicate concepts to clients.
Software Proficiency:
- Utilize industry-standard software tools, including AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Illustrator, to produce high-quality renderings, drawings, and presentations.
- Stay abreast of emerging design technologies and incorporate them into the design process.
Client Interaction:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering exceptional design solutions.
- Present design concepts and project progress to clients with clarity and confidence.
Code Compliance:
- Ensure that all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Coordination and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate architectural and engineering elements seamlessly into the overall design.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and furnishings that align with design concepts and meet project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 5 years of professional experience in interior design, with a focus on residential projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of completed projects.
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and SketchUp.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of industry trends and a passion for staying informed about the latest design innovations.
