Job Description
The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and implementing the plans and policies related to the Internal Audit function for overall efficiency and effectiveness and to ensure overall compliance with laws and the rules set out by governmental authorities and to further ensure conformity with the guidelines and regulations by regularity bodies and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
Key Accountabilities:Contribute to continuous review of the company's financial systems and to recommend changes as necessary.Draft final report to be issued to the CEO, Audit, and Risk Committee after auditing every process.Coordinate with external auditors for the quarterly and annual audit.Provide expert advice and guidance to junior auditors, contributing to their professional development and enhancing the overall efficiency of the internal audit team.Participate in risk assessment and assign weights to each process to decide which areas to cover or to focus on as priorities.Review financial and operating information and the means used to identify, measure, classify and report such information in order to ensure reliability and integrity for each process in the different departments.Ensure implementation of Audit findings and recommendations in order to minimize risk exposure.Supervise the day-to-day operations of Internal Audit section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures.Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.
Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance or other closely related field. Experience:3-5 years relevant experience in Internal Auditing including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities. Skills/Attributes:Experience with MS Office.Solid knowledge of regulations and guidelines.Knowledge of auditing concepts and principles.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Strong time management skills.Planning & analytical
