Job Description

Cluster Management: Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters across different environments (on-premises, cloud, hybrid)
Resource Allocation: Allocate resources (CPU, memory, storage) to pods and nodes efficiently
Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to track cluster health and performance.
Configure logging solutions for troubleshooting
Security: Implement RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), network policies, and secure communication within the cluster
High Availability: Design and maintain highly available clusters with proper backup and disaster recovery strategies
Application Deployment: Deploy and manage applications using Helm charts, Operators, and custom manifests
Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to pods, services, networking, and storage
Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute Kubernetes version upgrades and apply security patches
Automation: Use tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm for automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)

Requirements

Certification: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification
Kubernetes Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Kubernetes components, architecture, and best practices
Containerization: Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes
Networking: Familiarity with Kubernetes networking concepts (Services, Ingress, Network Policies)
Scripting and Automation: Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python) and infrastructure automation
Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud providers (Azure Only) and their Kubernetes services
Linux Administration: Strong Linux system administration skills
6 to 8 years of experience in Kubernetes
Overall 9 to 10 years of IT experience
