Senior Landscape Engineer Abu Dhabi
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Senior Landscape Engineer (Construction Supervision) to join our design team! In this role you will get
to perform a wide variety of difficult architectural assignments by applying architectural design standards, practices, and techniques.
What You'll Be Doing
- Direct the site supervision related to landscaping, irrigation and associated works
- Responsible for reviewing all shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, any requests for information relating to the landscaping, irrigation and associated works.
- Coordinate with Parsons design Engineers for resolution of related issues.
- Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the construction team working on the supervision of the construction of the landscaping, irrigation and associated works.
- Coordinate with client/PMC, the Contractor and related concerned authorities.
- Generally, supervise, review, monitor and report on the progress of the landscaping, irrigation and associated works.
- Liaise with all parties for site safety.
- Convene and chair regular site meetings about issues related to landscaping work and related activities.
- Issue additional drawings as required in coordination with the design office.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
- Comply with safety, health and risk management requirements.
- Provide all necessary on-site direction and issue site instructions for landscape, irrigation and other related activities.
- Ensure correctness and completeness of as-built drawings in the area of his discipline.
- Participate in contract administration.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelors degree in Architecture/Engineering/Agriculture
- Minimum 12 years experience in design and construction supervision of landscape projects preferably in the UAE
- Experience in large scale projects experience is required
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
