Job Description
This is a full-time role as a Senior Legal Counsel with AW HOLDING Giza Office. The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for:
Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead and mentor the legal team.
In-depth knowledge of business operations and industry-specific regulations.
Experience in handling complex legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance.
Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners.
Develop and implement the company's legal strategy in alignment with business goals.
Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the organization.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving legal disputes.
Handle Litigation, arbitration, dispute resolution in GCC and MENA region, Supervise and coordinate the work of external law firms.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company's operations.
Manage, supervise, develop and train the team members within the department and other departments, assigning responsibilities.
Communicate and meet with clients to discuss new cases and ongoing cases.
Providing regular internal reporting on legal and claims/litigation matters.
Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in law.
Minimum 10 years of experience practicing law, preferably with a law firm.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Managed a team of lawyers, paralegals and huge operation within a law firm.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Flaunt spoken and written English skills.
MBA will be an advantage.
