Job Briefing:
As a Senior Legal Specialist in our company's Legal Department, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and support to various business units and stakeholders. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of legal matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues, draft and review contracts, and contribute to the overall legal strategy of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a broad range of legal matters, including contracts, intellectual property, employment law, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance.
- Review, draft, and negotiate various legal agreements, such as vendor contracts, leases, licensing agreements, and service contracts, ensuring they are in line with the company's interests and compliant with applicable laws.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure legal compliance and minimize legal risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues arising from business operations, such as product development, marketing campaigns, data protection, and privacy matters.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company and advise relevant stakeholders on necessary actions or adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Assist in managing litigation matters, including coordinating with external counsel, gathering relevant information, and providing support during legal proceedings.
- Conduct legal trainings and workshops for employees to enhance legal awareness and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal documentation, records, and contracts.
Stay informed about industry trends and legal developments that may impact the company's operations and provide proactive advice and recommendations.
Qualification:
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in law or a related field.
- Minimum: 3-5 years of experience as a Legal Specialist or in a similar senior legal role.
- Minimum: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
