As a Senior Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for providing robust data analysis and tracking for all shipments and supply plans.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following
- Acting as the focal point of contact between the centralized supply & demand team and the market.
- Accomplishing the company logistics regarding import, export of samples processes and MOH activities
- Manage the process of customs clearance of the shipments at airports and seaports.
- Manage the process of Logistics of MPTC shipments, starting from LSP, regulatory, finance and custom clearance requirements to be matched with Ministry of Health, also handling the final release from CAPA (Central Administration of Pharmaceutical Affairs and NODCAR (National Organization for Drug Control and Research)
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the supply team ensuring supply and avoiding any out-of-stock risks.
- Responsible for following up with site on order readiness and reviewing all shipping documents for timely delivery.
- Follow up all bank documents and all related documents needed for customs clearance.
- Manage and control with our custom clearance agent in receiving consignments and clearance of shipments in appropriate time and control the delivery to W/H.
- Review the invoices of LSP, third parties and brokers before submitting to finance.
- Plan submissions & follow up the final release of all products from NODCAR (National Organization for Drug Control and Research)
- Responsible for samples, reference materials orders, and export samples for analysis.
- Driving savings across the logistics process and ensure container utilization.
- Establish strong work process through KPIs.
- Monitor the current account of MPTC in customs authority.
- Provide weekly & monthly reports to EDA & Drug Inspection.
- Update & monitor E2E reports and dashboards.
Why you
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor's degree of relevant field.
- 5-7 years of experience in supply planning, import and customs clearance.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Good command of English language.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceuticals/Engineering/Logistics
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Basic understanding of supply chain process
- Ability to process large amounts of data
- Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- Experience with Excel, Power BI and other systems is a plus
