Senior Macro Risk Manager with Leading Macro Hedge Fund (Dubai Based)

This role is a key growth hire, working closely with the Risk and Portfolio Management teams to support the expansion of the Macro business. You'll collaborate with both new and existing PMs in Dubai and engage with the broader Macro team in London and New York. The Risk professional joining will head up the fund's Dubai Risk desk. Experience in Rates and FX is required, and proficiency in Python is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Macro PM teams to analyze portfolios and risk profiles.
• Develop and manage risk guidelines across multiple portfolios.
• Address discrepancies in risk measurements and handle risk outside policy guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, including VaR, stress testing, and P&L analysis.
• Creating analyses and reports used by team members and portfolio teams.

Ideal Candidate:

• 8+ years of experience in Macro Risk, with strong expertise in Rates and FX.
• Background in either Sell-Side or Buy-Side firms; hedge fund experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Python or capable of learning quickly.
• Strong team player with experience collaborating across global offices.
