Job Description

Urgent requirement for a Senior Manager, GTB Service & Client Implementation to based in Qatar for a major financial institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of Transaction Services, ensuring they align with business and customer requirements while providing internal training for bank employees to enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Cash Management (Product, Sales) to actively contribute to the product development lifecycle, from concept through to product launch, for all transaction banking, electronic banking, and web-based solutions.
  • Ensure back-office systems are fully equipped to deliver the required services, working closely with system owners from Operations and IT to enhance service functionality and performance.
  • Develop and execute service and implementation strategies that empower QNB's domestic and international corporate clients to receive exceptional Global Transaction Banking (GTB) services.
  • Provide thought leadership by developing innovative solutions and recommendations to support the growth and strategic objectives of the Global Corporate Banking business.
  • Maintain the highest standards of product service and implementation across QNB's global footprint by partnering with the product development team to set and uphold best practices.
  • Drive operational efficiency by increasing straight-through processing (STP) and ensuring timely and seamless technical implementation of all sales closures.
  • Align the unit's business plans and KPIs with the broader Global Corporate Banking strategy and QNB Group objectives, ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Initiate, develop, and implement policies, standards, systems, and procedures, in compliance with QNB guidelines, external regulations, and industry-leading practices, ensuring strict adherence and day-to-day execution.
  • Provide insightful input on product development, utilizing market research and customer feedback to inform strategic improvements and enhance the customer experience.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant banking experience, preferably within a top-tier international bank.
  • Deep understanding of the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) client base, with strong insights into their needs and expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including proficiency in report writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant banking laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven decision-making skills and a proactive approach to driving initiatives to completion.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and analytical skills, with a strong focus on results and business impact.
