Our client, a leading global organisation is seeking a dynamic and experienced International Tax Manager with a strong focus on M&A Tax and Transfer Pricing to join their Dubai-based team. The Role
- Lead M&A Tax and Transfer Pricing strategies, ensuring compliance with both local and international tax regulations.
- Provide expert tax advisory support on cross-border transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring optimal tax structuring aligned with corporate goals.
- Develop and implement transfer pricing policies in accordance with global and regional standards, ensuring alignment with OECD guidelines.
- Work closely with global and regional teams to ensure the effective integration of tax strategies into the company's broader business goals.
- Liaise with finance, legal, and business teams on tax matters, providing insights and recommendations on complex tax issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing tax regulations across the regions, assessing and advising on implications for the organisation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local and international tax authorities and external advisers.
- Drive continuous improvement in tax processes, identifying and mitigating tax risks proactively.
The Person
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field; relevant tax certifications (e.g., CTA, CPA, ACCA) are highly desirable.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in M&A Tax and Transfer Pricing, ideally gained in a multinational matrix environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex tax matters within a global organisation, with strong technical knowledge of transfer pricing and international tax principles.
- Experience working in or with mature tax jurisdictions, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
