Senior Manager - Smart City Network Design and RFP (6 months)
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Smart City Network Design and RFP, is responsible for leading the development and delivery of network design and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for Smart City infrastructure projects. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of cutting-edge smart city solutions that enhance urban living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design: Lead the design and architecture of Smart City networks, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- RFP Development: Develop comprehensive RFP documents, including technical specifications, project requirements, and evaluation criteria.
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial concept through to deployment and maintenance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and government agencies to align project goals and deliverables.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs and proposals comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in smart city development and integrate innovative solutions into projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in network design, project management, and RFP development, preferably within the smart city or telecommunications sector.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of network architecture and design principles.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in developing and managing RFP processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with smart city technologies and infrastructure. OFC network, IP network, wi-fi network, IOT network, DC network assessment and design experience. Previous Smart city network experience is preferred.
- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
- Knowledge of IoT, AI, and other emerging technologies relevant to smart cities.
