Role Summary
Works with the hiring manager to document the requirements of job openings
Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions.
Works with agencies, recruiting contractors and/or internet website representatives while conducting employment advertising campaigns.
May provide performance feedback on all recruiting agencies/sources.
May develop, support, and maintain college recruiting, affirmative action, and career development programs.
Professionals at the higher levels may specialize in technical recruiting and/or highly specialized executive searches.
May also assist with the immigration process and administration as a liaison with immigration attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements.
- Writing attractive job adverts, using in-depth specifications, and advertising them to attract the maximum amount of applications
- Identifying and qualifying candidates for approved roles
- Scheduling Interviews in a timely manner
- Offer Negotiations with Candidates and obtain offer approval to enable hires
- Liaison with Recruitment Agencies
- Utilizing Social Media to attract new candidates & build a pipeline of future candidates as well as direct headhunting tactics
- Use social networking to promote our employer brand and drive traffic to increase applications.
- Manage expectations across the business.
- Pro-active management of the recruitment database
- Regular and ad-hoc Reporting and ad-hoc administration
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a recruiter is mandatory, including resourcing and direct search
- Experience in IT recruitment would be preferred.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills to prioritize own workload, with minimal supervision, often working independently.
- Proven track record at direct sourcing candidates using advanced searching techniques such as Boolean as well as utilizing your extensive personal network and online resume mining with minimal reliance on job board postings
- Social media confidence with extensive online networks and participation (online forums, user groups, etc.)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with the team and build relationships with potential candidates and managers.
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines within a fast paced dynamic organization whilst keeping responsive, positive and motivated as a results orientated, self-starter.
- Expert at managing expectations and overcoming objections internally and externally
- Incredibly resilient and adaptable whilst maintaining a business and customer focus.
- Technically minded across a variety of tools from Office suite to ATS (success factors and workday preferred)
