Major Accountabilities :
Develop and implement the strategy for all tender & reimbursement activities. Preparation of pricing submissions to the authorities. Build relationships with key personnel in the different schemes and administrators. Understand funder unmet needs and key funder endpoints to drive value and differentiation of portfolio. Understand funder models and how Sandoz EG should adapt to ensure optimal reimbursement. Justify, support and maintain formulary listings and reference pricing at Funders. Deal with escalated reimbursement matters that are brought forward from the commercial team.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development and Execution:
Develop and execute strategies aligned with external stakeholders, primarily payers in the UPA and the Ministry of Health.
Set pricing strategies for the company's entire product portfolio in UPA tenders and key accounts.
Enlist Sandoz's complete portfolio in tenders, ensuring competitive prices to maximize market share.
Ensure co creation of national treatment protocols to optimize market positioning.
Help to expand in Sandoz portfolio by sharing the unmet needs from the payers and Health care sector side.
Value Story Articulation:
Articulate a compelling value story for Sandoz to external stakeholders, emphasizing the company's unique strengths and advantages.
Communicate the value proposition of Sandoz products and services to payers and other decision-makers effectively.
Partnership Development and Execution:
Identify and establish strategic partnerships with external authorities, such as the Unified Purchasing Authority and other relevant organizations.
Collaborate with external stakeholders to develop mutually beneficial initiatives and programs.
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to position Sandoz as the preferred partner.
Cross-Functional Alignment:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs, to align plans and resources.
Ensure all teams are working towards a common goal and direction, supporting the overall market access strategy.
Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
At least 8 years of experience in managerial position with related and relevant market access experience including pricing and awareness with the external stakeholders map of influence.
Excellent negotiation skill and articulation of value stories to the external partners.
Strong evidence on cocreation of the cross functional teams tactical plans to be aligned with the external partners strategic priorities.
Proven track record in developing and executing successful market access strategies.
Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with key decision-makers.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
Understanding of the health economics environment and the ability to translate outcomes to the local environment.
In-depth knowledge of payer landscape, pricing strategies, and tender processes.
Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and national treatment protocols.
