Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer for the design of Mechanical systems-related buildings across a range of markets including high-rise buildings, education, commercial, offices, manufacturing, science, and technology. This position will call for a wide variety of expertise and knowledge to support design projects, value-added engineering activities and to constantly improve our engineering analytic group.

Responsibilities
- In charge of Preparing and reviewing the requirements, tender Documents, drawings, Reports, and Mechanical design calculations for the design projects.
- Preparing Shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assists in identifying the technical capabilities and personnel hours necessary for the project's effective completion.
- Prepare Mechanical engineering calculations, estimates, surveys, material quantity takeoff, specifications, data sheets and other documents.
- Use of applicable code and guidelines standards to perform design and calculations for all Mechanical works which will include the following:
1. HVAC systems (Chilled water system, DX unit system, Ventilation and Exhaustsystem, Smoke management system);
2. Plumbing systems ( Drainage, Water supply and Storm water system);
3. Fire Fighting system;
4. Swimming pool Design;
5. Hot water design.
- Prepares technical reports and activity documentation for the client and project manager.
- Coordination with applicable codes and ensure that all follow the applicable design standards and specifications to obtain approval on design projects.
- Carries out additional duties related to this role as necessary.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7-10 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
- Experience in managing a team of 4+ Mechanical engineers.
- Experienced in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Microsoft office and in using any other PC software programs used in engineering.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication abilities (English Language is Essential).
- Knowledge on KSA codes, specifications, and design guidelines.
