Key responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate trends in news and social media related to companies, government bodies, campaigns, and spokespeople.
- Utilize media monitoring tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Sprinklr, Quid) to set up and execute complex topics using Boolean queries.
- Visualize and present data to inform clients communication strategies.
- Filter and categorize information according to client requirements.
- Develop creative and critical analyses to provide actionable insights to clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deconstruct complex topics and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Contribute to strategic planning to enhance our media monitoring offerings.
- Foster a culture of analytical excellence and data literacy across the team.
Your experience and skills:
- Proven experience in media monitoring and analysis, with a hands-on approach and strategic mindset.
- Expertise in media monitoring tools and advanced Boolean query execution.
- Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to present data clearly and effectively.
- Bilingual in English and Arabic (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint and Excel.
- Solid understanding of public relations and global affairs, and the ability to analyze data to drive communication strategies.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to develop creative ways to analyze and present data.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
