Job Description

Preferably looking for UAE National.

JOB PURPOSE

The function involves supporting the BD team with some functions: marketing activities, coordinating vendor workshops, building commercial proposals and managing CRM, preparing customer workshops and roadshows, supporting contractual negotiation with customers and vendors, and support in managing YGS Product Portfolio.

Work closely and support other BD team members (Sales and Pre-sales) Interface with customers for requirements collection & coordinate within Yahsat to meet customer expectation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support with YGS marketing activities such as:
  1. Prepare and maintain content for YGS Corporate Slides and coordinate with marcom team
  2. Plan and coordinate activities related to YGS participation in shows, level of participation, messaging to go with vendor exhibits, logistics etc.
  3. Prepare and maintain YGS proposal and presentation templates

  • Coordinate and organize vendor workshops including meetings agendas, logistics and post meeting notes and summary of actions. Maintain vendor database and YGS Database documentation. Negotiating standard commercial terms, keeping up with latest relevant products and services offering.
  • Supporting proposal preparation and managing YGS CRM, task register and bid approval memo.
  • Support customer presentations, workshops and roadshows to support YGS business team in creating opportunities. Help organize and support Key Government Customer visits to international vendors.
  • Expanding and developing product and service portfolio of YGS driven by customer needs and available in-house and vendor capabilities.
  • Coordinate and manage product evaluation and testing, customer PoCs, RFI etc
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry news, market intelligence, competitive landscape analysis, relevant technology trends and emerging technologies. Selectively Comment on, recommend/advise, and Share with YGS team at least on a monthly basis.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven hands-on network support experience.
  • CCNP or higher certificate.
  • Fortinet NSE4/NSE5 certificate.
  • Expert knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
  • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
  • Multi-vendor experience, especially with technologies like Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Juniper, HP Network and Aruba.
  • Working Knowledge with DDoS Protection.
  • University degree in Computer engineering or a related subject.
  • 8 years+ experience in operating and maintaining Networking Systems.
